This one is one of the first brands on Semi Permanent hair color I used.
Fudge Paintbox.
Price: $22nzd
Color Ranges: Pinks, Purples, Blues, Reds, Oranges, Green.
My Rating: 7/10
Reds
So what i found with this brand is that the colors were not always consistent with what you could see inside the bottle.
The first color i used from them was Cherry Bomb, because i wanted the brightest shade of red possible. At this time i didn't really have a understanding that the colors would eventually FADE. So anyway, almost straight after washing out the "red dye" from my blonde hair, it was a very bright pink/red color, so i had to go over it again, which made it a very vibrant red. Sadly, that only lasted at the most, a week which forced me to color my hair more than i could be bothered doing. So i went on to use a darker red color from Paintbox, which was Red Corvette. This color looked a really dark red inside the bottle, so i was hesitant on using it, but after i did, it turned out to be lighter than what i thought it would be, but it didn't have the pink shades to it, so this is the one that i stuck with in the end.
So, if you don't have a problem coloring your hair often, then go for Cherry Bomb. If you want a red that won't fade off into a pink very quickly, go for Red Corvette.

Blues
The first blue that i used was Blue Hawaii. This one didn't hold to my hair very well from the start as hair has to be a very light shade to have the color be visible and achieve the correct color. So after a few bleaches i was able to get the color to stick to my hair. But once again, i made the mistake of getting the lightest color possible, and it ended up fade after maybe a week. It ended up fading a color that a lot of people referred to as "baby diaper". Not long after, i decided that wasn't the blue that i was after, so i got a different one called Blue Velvet, and just like Red Corvette, it was waaaaay darker in the bottle that the color result in my hair. It was a very vibrant blue, pretty much like this -----> where as, Blue Hawaii was something like this ------>
After a while Paintbox brought out a new blue "Electric Blue". This color was basically a bit lighter than Blue Velvet, but for the first week or so, looks almost a mix between blue and purple. Afterwards its just blue. I still prefer Blue Velvet over any of the other blues.
Purples
The only purple i liked from this range was Blueberry Hill, which is pretty much Barney The Dinosaur purple (If anybody actually remembers him) This one lasted AGES and when its faded it would fade out a nice lilac/lavender shade. Only downside is that the fade takes a while, but then again, that could also be classed as a good thing, considering it will stay a vibrant color for longer.
The other purples;
"Purple Haze" Was just too light for me, but if that's what your after, then go for it. Just make sure your hair is VERY LIGHT.
"Raspberry Beret" I found to be to much of a pinky based purple for me, but once again, that probably will appeal to many people, just not me.
Green
Paintbox only has one shade of green, which came out the same time as their new "Electric Blue"
This color "Green Envy" was okay at first, but once again, needed very light hair to hold though this one was another one that liked to fade dramatically within a week or so. BUT, the starting color was amazing, I'll give them that. Fade color was plain awful, turning a light yellow, but not really a nice yellow.. still, i think the starting color was worth all the negative things about it.
Hope this has helped you in some way. I'll be writing about other brands that i have tried soon, cause there are a few, and a few of them worked better than this brand :)
